Honley High School won two top awards at the National festival of Music for Youth in London. Assistant music teacher Miss Felicity Storer is pictured with some of the youngsters who took part. Nineteen pupils were involved as part of a fourth-year GCSE music project. The festival also featured 24 members of the schools chamber orchestra. The school won the top trophy in the composition section and a highly commended award in the same class. 2nd July 1990
