Big-hearted council workers got in the swim to help cardiac patients
Big-hearted council workers got in the swim to help cardiac patients. Workers in Middlesbrough Councils building department handed over £ 1, 200 to buy a portable heart monitor for South Cleveland Hospitals coronary unit. Cash was raised by 48 employees in a sponsored swim at Berwick Hills Baths. Pictured is Dr Adrian Davies receiving the cheque from organiser Alan Rafferty, watched by swimmers Claire James, Sid Abdi and Helen Queenan. 18th August 1988
