Five-a-side champions - Bradley Juniors have scored their very own cup final win. While Manchester United and Crystal Palace were preparing for their FA Cup Wembley encounters, the Bradley team were walking away with a trophy of their own. The boys netted the Diamond Trophy after winning the finals of a five-a-side competition at Deighton High School. The competition was organised by staff and pupils from Deighton and involved the schools four feeder junior schools. Captain Steve Smith shows off the trophy to team-mates Neil Day, Lawrence Binns, Paul Bradshaw and Simon Thornton, watched by referees Mark Alston, Marc Graley and John Dysart. 11th May 1990
