Giving their mothers a helping hand for an hour helped members of the 3rd fairfield Brownies to raise £ 100 for the NSPCC Centenary Appeal. The Brownies were sponsored by their friends as they carried out household chores. Mrs Ann Townsend, Chairman of the North Tees Branch of the NSPCC is seen receiving the cheque from Victoria Bolam.
