Framed Print of Children at Honley Library indulge in a bit of Jungle Fun

Children at Honley Library indulge in a bit of Jungle Fun. The activity session, organised by Kirklees Libraries staff, is touring the area this weeks to occupy children during their half-term holiday. As well as story telling, the youngsters are being encouraged to experience the sounds and smells of the jungle and try their hands at creative work. Giant palm trees are being created out of old newspapers, so turning paper back into trees. And the fun is backed up by a serious message as all the young visitors are being asked to consider the plight of tropical rainforests. 18th February 1991. © Mirrorpix
