Ten-year-old Sarah Hanson (centre) serves customer Mrs Irena Wegrzyn at a bring and buy sales she organised at St John C of E school, Golcar - and helping her is fellow pupil Yvonne Eastwood. Some 34 nine, 10 and 11 year-olds from the school helped Sarah to raise money for the Blue Peter Sightsaver appeal for eye treatments in the third world. Proceeds amounted to more than £ 90. 3rd February 1987
