Highlight of the season in the Middlesbrough Schools Football Association achievements was the winning of the Yorkshire Trophy, for only the second time in over 70 years, by the under 15 team, who completed the double with the Ayresome Park Cup. The team are pictured with Stuart Boam, the Boro skipper and chairman of the association, Mr Terry Roe. The team captain, Keith Atterton is receiving the trophy, watched by (left to right) Richard Gwyther, David Walker, Graham Smith, Adrian Stracey, Graham Goodall, John Furness, Ken Mills, Philip Omoni, Geoffrey Walker, Craig Curtis, Andrew MacBeth, Gary Bell, Ian Crockett, Kevin Horkan, Michael Smith and David Carter. 24th June 1978
