John Lennon and Yoko Ono greeting fans before a trip up to Durness, Scotland in their Austin Maxi with his son Julian and her daughter Kyoko. Unfortunatley the journey ended 40 miles from Durness in a ditch near Tongue. John was driving on a single track road and swerved to avoid a confused German driver coming the other way. They spent five days in a local hospital recovering. 27th June 1969
