A RAF search and rescue Sea King from RAF Boulmer lands a man, who was plucked out of the sea off Cullercoats. Firemen carry an injured man to a waiting ambulance.
The helicopter had been involved in the double rescue in high winds which had started with a fishing boat capsizing followed by a rescue boat doing the same.
Two men were saved by the Sea King, another man managed to swim back to shore whist a fourth drowned trapped by seaweed and rope from the boat.

Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass). The back is stapled hardboard with a sawtooth hanger attached. Note: measurements provided are estimated outer dimensions, which include both the image and the frame.
