Butchers and Barbers is a portrait of life on Clifton Street, Cardiff, pictured here in 1965. *AN EXHIBITION about one of Cardiffis thriving communities opens this week, and itis a film by two local sisters that promises to be the big draw. Butchers and Barbers is a portrait of life on Clifton Street and has been a collaboration between Adamsdown Arts Association and twin sisters ZoI and Christabel Gingell. The two have been making films together for more than 10 years; Chrissy with a long-standing background as a director in TV documentary, and ZoI as a producer in arts and television. Their working name is the apt Twosome Films. Having grown up locally, and having moved away n itis only in the last five years that they have been simultaneously living in the area. 2nd, December, 1965
