Mr. Winston Churchill paid a visit on Wednesday to Dover
Mr. Winston Churchill paid a visit on Wednesday to Dover and Ramsgate where he inspected air raid damage and met local A.R.P. workers. Despite the fact that there was an almost continuous air raid warning during his visit the Prime Minister carried on unprerturbed. He saw an air battle in which two machines were shot down into the sea in front of him.
Photo shows: Mr. Winston Churchill chatting with soldiers clearing away damage done in an air raid just before arrival at Ramsgate.
