Cardiff Folk Singer Frank Hennessy pictured on the banks of the River Taff looking for the Grangetown Whale - 6th August 1981. *A NEW online project featuring the classic Frank Hennessy song Cardiff Born Cardiff Bred is appealing for people to post their video renditions of the city classic. The project, also titled Cardiff Born and Bred, has been set up by training company Cyfle as part of a six-month course called Digital Delta. Residents of all ages are being encouraged to unite by uploading a video of themselves either singing lines to the song or describing their memories of Cardiff Bay as the project tries to document the history of the area. The idea is that younger people can take part by creating their own videos or helping older people to film their videos so a wide range of stories can be collected and will be shared on the Echo Bay History blog
