Gulf Crisis
British Engineers arriving in Saudi Arabia to fight for the allied forces in operation " Desert Storm". On the 2nd August 1990 Iraqi troops under orders from their Commander in Chief and President, Saddam Hussein marched into Kuwait. Saddam Husseins reasons for the invasiom were over a disputed oil field, from which he accused Kuwait of stealing £ 2.5 billion of oil.
