In 1900 he publishes the " New York World" as a tabloid newspaper. In 1903 he found the DailyMirror (Nov), a womens paper sold for a penny (Jan 1904, renamed the Daily Ilustrated Mirror and published as an illustrated tabloid sold for a halfpenny.) In 1907 the worlds first specialized motor racing circuit is opened in Britain at Brooklands on Lord Northcliffes estate. In 1908 he acquires control of the Times. On August 14th 1922 he dies aged 57
