Bit his old master will pay the fee. It is 10 shillings a week for his food. Shandys old master Dr Gerald Capper of Portman Square Marllebone, London, advertised in his local paper for a good home for his family pet with the 10s allowance.
Dr Capper explained that he had put Shandy up for adoption due to the birth of his daughter Rachel.
