The professionalism of the cool Germans last night put paid to Rugbys hopes of representing Britain in the finals of the International Its a Knockout contest. But the determined Rugby team did not give up without a srong challenge which resulted in a nail-biting finish for the crowd of 7000 at Northampton. The atmosphere in the mock Wild West town was electric as disaster struck the German team in the all-important last game. A wheel flew off their covered wagon, but a summit meeting between referees resulted in them having another chance at the game and picking up the vital points. The final score of 44 points for the Bavarian town of Kempten, gave them victory over Rugby, Muotathal (Switzerland) and Anloo (Holland) who all finished with 39 points. Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass). The back is stapled hardboard with a sawtooth hanger attached. Note: measurements provided are estimated outer dimensions, which include both the image and the frame.
