More than 3, 000 people visited the Leamington Rugby Club
More than 3, 000 people visited the Leamington Rugby Clubs fete in the Pump Room Gardens in the town. They raised almost £ 1, 000 towards the clubs new headquarters and ground. The club will be moving from Old Warwick Road where they have been for 20 years, to the Moorfields at Blackdown, in time for their AGM in July. Our photograph shows a demonstration in the art of downing a yard of ale.
