The New Glasgow Hospice Trust was founded by Dr Anne Gilmore in 1980 as a community outreach project with help from a group of dedicated volunteers
Shortly after the City of Glasgow gifted the Hospice to His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer on the occasion of their marriage and the Hospice was subsequently renamed The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice.
