Lights, camera... but very little action. That was the scene as a camera crew filmed

Lights, camera... but very little action. That was the scene as a camera crew filmed " Keeping up Appearances", a pilot TV comedy, at a Coventry house. The BBC film crew are outside the home of Tony and Rose Healey in Heather Road, Binley Woods. The bungalow was chosen in a nationwide search as the " perfect" home for the shows main character, Hyacinth Bucket played by Patricia Routledge. Director Harold Snoad explained: " Shes a pernickity-sort of woman who wants everything to be just right. There are several scenes when she is talking to her neighbours. This house is ideal."
