Shopping: Harrods Sale. The " top peoples" store started their summer sale today (Friday) - a day sooner than usual. And shoppers showed that whatever the store is always " first come, first served" in the race for a bargain. Harrods brought the opening day forward to Friday this year, in an attempt to avoid the usual Saturday crush. However, they are still anticipating a record crowd today and tomorrow, and have taken on an extra 2000 staff to help cope over these two days. 3-year old Christina Astaniou from Mill Hill waits among the feet, as her parents buy their China today (Friday).
