At a recent Exhibiton at Bristol, there was shown a cut-out wooden toy dog. He is called " Wallop" and is the idea of Mr. S.R. Gage, Managing Director of a Bristol Engineering firm. Arthur Ferrier drew the design for the toy using Mr. Gages cairn terrier as a model. The name " Wallop" was given to the toy by some R.A.F. men Mr. Gage hopes to produce 15, 000 " Wallops" a week.
