A programme of folk dancing held at the Royal Albert Hall where over 400 dancers from England and abroad took part. A team from Holland and a girl from the USA are part of this years show.
Our Picture Shows: The Morris men from Manley, Cheshire performing the Lancashire traditional Morris dance and bearded Leslie Howarth who is a fruiterer is one of the enthusiastic dancers. In their decorated clothes they make a fine team waving wands which are flexible and tied with little bows. Their hats are decorated with flowers.
