John Dankworth, master of jazz swung into Coventry yesterday for a lightning visit to the cathedral. The m usician, conductor and composer was finalising details of a special jazz concert in September to mark the cathedrals silver jubilee year. He has been asked to write an original composition to celebrate the anniversary of the cathedral. The 20-minute piece called " Reconciliation" will be performed by an ensemble of 84 musicians as the highlight to the evening of jazz.
