Art students from the College of Further Education, High wycombe, sketching from the Golden Ball at the top of St. Lawrence Church, West Wycombe. They get wonderful views of the countryside from many miles around. The Golden Ball was erected by the eccentric Sir Francis Dashwood, 80 ft hight, on the Tower - the ball another 20 ft, and 646 ft above sea level and said to have been used for meetings of the Hell Fire Club. June 1952
