Today 6 months after, they are on the best of terms and although Sam has got a large cage and a den, it is quite free when Ivor is around to roam the garden, trees and the house. It has never attempted to escape. Sam has a terrific appetite and eats the queerest things for a squirrel, for instance he loves warm tea and usually steals a piece of cake from my mouth but chocolate biscuits is his real favourite."
