The Amazing Doctor Painless: He's the fastest draw in the West -- when it comes to pulling teeth. And the patient feels no pain, despite the fact that Dr. Ashwan Barot uses no anaesthetic. The incredible dentist doesn't mess about with gas or injections. He uses just a pair of forceps -- or even plucks out teeth with his bare hands. He doesn't even have the dreaded dentiat's chair -- his patients sit cross-legged on the floor. Dr. Barot, a 23-year-old Indian, has studied an ancient and now little-known form of yoga called jalandarbandh, used by Hindu medics 5,000 years ago to tranquillise their patients.
