Jimmy Eatten, who hopes to join British boxing's growing army of European champions, was handed a grim "It will be tough" warning. It came loss than twenty four hours after middle-weight Alan Minter had retained his European crown by hammering Frenchman Gratien Tonna into a sixth round retirement at Wembley. The warning came from another Frenchman Gilbert Cohen, who meets East Endor Batton in a £15,000 battle for the vacant European light middleweight title at Wembley's Conference centre on November 21.
